(Long Island, NY) Jay Fiedler, former NFL Quarterback for the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets and Director of the Sports Academy at Brookwood Camps addressed Lynbrook North Middle School students earlier this month about his path to success as a student and professional athlete. Fiedler, from Oceanside, was invited to tell his story of athletic and academic success as a model for students to follow.
“I have good experiences and good memories to share,” Fiedler, who earned a BA Degree in Engineering Sciences at Dartmouth College said, adding, “I think those experiences can help others achieve their goals. Working hard, working the right way; this is what it’s all about.” His path to success is a story of determination and perseverance. Fiedler was asked to speak about his goals and dreams as a child and to share the importance of healthy choices and good role models.
