Better Late Than Never… Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day
Oops…I missed St. Patrick’s Day.
Well, it wasn’t really an oversight; while everyone else was enjoying corned beef and cabbage and green beer, I was fighting off the end of the flu. So, the next day, I set out to find some good old fashioned Irish food and drink. It seems that there are still plenty of Irish-spirited things to do during the rest of March. 14th Annual Patchogue St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Sunday March 29 at 2 pm
Parade starts at Route 112 and East Main Street and continues west down Main Street
The parade will kick off with the 1k “Family Fun Run” and the “May the Road Rise to Meet Ye” 5k run.
According to Lu-Ann Lategano of the Patchogue Parks and Recreation Department, the parade line up includes seven pipe bands, various dance and brownie troops, fire trucks and floats.
