October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Everyone can make a difference and offer their support and donations by taking part in local community events.

You are never too young to start showing support for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Aside from wearing pink, young teens and adults are sporting bracelets with a coined phrase saying, “I love boobies: Keep a Breast.” Friend or Foe of the bracelets, kids, teens, and adults are wearing them prideful. A percentage of the proceeds are used to educate young women about the leading causes of breast cancer in women under the age of 40. You may purchase these bracelets individually at Spencer’s, Zumiez or online. Not a fan of the bracelets? You can always show your support by wearing the signature pink ribbon in various different styles.
