More than 50 restaurants in Dine Huntington Restaurant Week Oct. 12-23
(Long Island, N.Y.) Book your tables now because choice nights are going fast as word spreads about Dine Huntington Restaurant Week, sponsored by Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce, Long Islander Newspapers and Lexus of Massapequa.
For 12 days from October 12-23, more than 50 restaurants from every corner of Huntington Township will serve up a 3-course dining experience for $24.95 per person plus tax and tip (Saturday until 7 p.m. only). Some of the finest restaurants in town are on board and their chefs are designing menus to showcase their art and show off their restaurants to new diners.
“There’s a reason Huntington is called the Restaurant Capital of Long Island,” said Michael Schenkler, publisher of Long Islander Newspapers and an organizer of Dine Huntington Restaurant Week. “I’m just happy it’s a 12-day-week because there are so many restaurants participating and I want to try them all.”
The list includes some of the stars of Huntington’s vibrant dining scene and covers every style of cooking, from rustic Italian to New American with many ethnic and family style restaurants in the mix.
“We’re excited by the tremendous response Dine Huntington Restaurant Week has received, both from restaurants and the dining public,” said Chamber Chairman Bob Bontempi. “The hospitality industry is a vital part of the local economy and these prix fixe dining experiences will introduce new customers to our town’s many fine restaurants.”

The restaurant page of the website is a who’s who of Huntington’s star industry and chefs have composed an enticing array of selections. Just click on the restaurant’s logo to download its Dine Huntington Restaurant Week menu. Each includes at least three appetizer and entrée selections, plus dessert, and the choices include some mouth-watering and often surprising selections.
