LONG ISLAND, NY – U.S. Senate candidate Chele Farley (R, C, Reform) today blasted incumbent Senator Kirsten Gillibrand for failing to show up to a long-scheduled News 12 Long Island debate as “another Gillibrand no-show.”
It’s just another Gillibrand no-show. When it comes to standing up for New Yorkers here on Long Island or elsewhere around the state, Kirsten Gillibrand is a complete and utter failure,” said Farley.
Gillibrand, who at the last minute backed out of a planned statewide Spectrum News debate, today ducked the News 12 debate, depriving voters and concerned citizens of their chance to her views on a range of public issues.
The fact is that Kirsten Gillibrand is afraid to debate here on Long Island because she would have to defend her abysmal legislative record, explain her radical plan to abolish ICE and finally come clean on her 2020 plans,” said Farley.
Gillibrand, who has defined her career in office as “transparent” and “accessible,” has been all but absent from New York this fall as she criss-crosses the nation building a network for her planned 2020 Presidential run.
“Gillibrand is the ‘Where’s Waldo’ of New York. She doesn’t live here, she doesn’t campaign here, and most importantly, she doesn’t deliver for anybody struggling here to make ends meet. If you’re unsatisfied with Gilibrand’s legacy of failure, this election day vote for a businesswoman and advocate who is committed to Put New York First — vote Chele Farley for US Senate.” said Farley.
Chele Farley is an outsider with over 25 years of experience in the private sector. She is the Republican, Conservative and Reform Party candidate for U.S. Senate.
