The Walking Arts Tour will tie into the Third Annual Patchogue Arts Festival on October 24th. Various locations around Patchogue Village will display works of art from local visual, performance, and spoken word artists. For the first time, there will be a self-guided docent tour of the festival in the form of a free pod cast consisting of artist info and music from artists who will be performing on that day.
“We call it the beast, because it keeps growing beyond our belief!” remarked Beth Giacummo, PAC 1st Vice President and Walking Arts Co-Chair. “We are spreading from Patchogue through Blue Point, Bayport and Sayville this year. We are so excited to bring art to multiple communities and hope we can inspire other towns!
“It’s so exciting to be part of a community that embraces the arts!” added Jessica McAvoy. Walking Arts Co-Chair and PAC Founding Member
