(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Mastic Beach.
A man was walking eastbound on Pine Road, near the intersection of Beaver Drive, when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene on March 4 at approximately 6:30 p.m. The victim, 35, of Mastic Beach, was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The vehicle is described as dark-colored and may have front end and headlight damage. The vehicle is possibly a General Motors model.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
