(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the person who left the scene of an accident in Mastic.
On Sunday, May 1, at approximately 11:50 p.m., a white-colored sedan with chrome rims was traveling eastbound on Montauk Highway when the vehicle struck a pedestrian. The driver of the sedan, believed to be a 2002-2006 Nissan Altima (pictured below), fled the scene.

The driver is described as an olive-skinned male in his 30’s with black hair. Investigators believe the vehicle has substantial damage to the passenger side fender and mirror.

The pedestrian suffered injuries and was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital for treatment.
